The logo and its history

“ It was the end of the nineties when, on the occasion of one of my trips outside Italy that my previous occupation led me to undertake, I was approached in the middle of London by a street artist. I remember a gray day, with light but insistent rain in which a gentleman in his sixties almost suddenly from behind a corner appeared in my view with a white sheet in his hand. In the blink of an eye he drew my portrait with a glass of wine in his hand and titled it: “The Gentleman”. Then he suddenly disappeared, but not before handing me that drawing.

Those were the times in which my occupation was completely different from the current one, but the same times in which, for some years now I had begun to cultivate a passion for this magical world of food and wine which began to intrigue and excite me… . However, until then I would never have thought of changing my life to embark on a new adventure in the world of food and wine.

Well, it will be hard to believe but that portrait with a glass of wine in hand, given to me by a stranger who appeared and disappeared almost suddenly, sounded like a clear sign of destiny!"
